Initial Training
Your first weeks with us are structured, intensive, and designed to get you fluent in this business before you ever cut a ribbon. You’ll spend time learning the ADU trade itself: how detached units are sited, permitted, and built, what separates a quality prefab panel from a bad one, and how to walk a lot and spot drainage, setback, and utility issues before they become change orders. We teach you the software stack we run on, from CRM and scheduling tools to estimating templates, so your office runs clean from day one.
Hiring comes next. We’ll show you how to recruit, interview, and vet field crews using the Threshold Verified standards: background checks, identity verification, uniform requirements, and photo-badge protocols. You’ll learn our marketing playbook too, from local SEO fundamentals to how we position written pricing and the 365-Day Done Right Promise against competitors who won’t put anything on paper. The goal is simple: you leave initial training knowing exactly what to do on your first day, your first week, and your first project.
Launch Support
Opening day doesn’t mean you’re suddenly on your own. The launch phase is where we’re most hands-on. We help you set up your local marketing foundation: Google Business Profile, local landing pages, review systems, and the outreach sequences that fill your calendar with estimate requests. Our team reviews your first quote drafts with you, line by line, so you’re confident delivering the written price every Sutton customer gets before work starts.
Then we coach you through your first jobs. Not from a distance. We walk through pre-site checklists, customer communication scripts, and the photo-and-name protocol that tells a homeowner exactly who’s arriving and when.
