The Promise, in One Paragraph

When Sutton ADU Builders finishes work on your home, that work is covered for a full 365 days. If something we built, installed, or repaired isn’t holding up the way it should, call us. We’ll come back, we’ll look at it, and we’ll make it right – at no charge to you. No forms to fill out. No receipt to dig up. No haggling. That’s the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it’s stamped on every project we complete.

What’s Covered

  • Workmanship on any job we performed: if something we built, framed, finished, or installed fails or falls short of what was agreed, it’s covered.
  • Parts and materials we supplied and installed: if a component we sourced and put in place fails within 365 days of the service date, we come back and address it.
  • The return visit itself: there is no charge for the follow-up call – no trip fee, no diagnostic charge, nothing.
  • A full redo when a repair doesn’t hold: if we fix something and it fails again within the 365-day window, we don’t patch it and hope – we do the job properly.
  • Site clean-up on the return visit: we leave your property the way we found it, just as we do on the original job.
  • Your peace of mind if you’re unsure: if you think something might be a problem but you’re not certain, call anyway – we’d rather come look and find nothing than have you worry about it.

What Isn’t Covered

  • Storm, flood, or accident damage after our visit: if something we built is damaged by weather or an outside event, that’s not a workmanship failure – though we’re still happy to come assess and quote any repairs needed.
  • Work performed by someone else: if another contractor touches the same area after we finish, we can’t stand behind what we didn’t do.
  • Parts or materials the homeowner supplied: we can only warrant what we sourced ourselves – if a part you provided fails, the promise doesn’t extend to it, but we’ll tell you what we think went wrong.
  • Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install: existing systems or components we weren’t hired to replace age on their own timeline.
  • Problems flagged during the job that the homeowner chose not to address: if we pointed something out and you decided to hold off, we note it on the job file – but we can’t cover an issue we were asked to leave alone.
  • Cosmetic changes of mind: the promise covers performance and workmanship, not a preference for a different finish or color after the fact – though we’re always glad to quote additional work.

How to Use the Promise

Step 1: Call (472) 248-8213 or book online

Reach us by phone or through our site – whichever is easier. A live person answers every call, any time of day, so you won’t hit a voicemail tree when you have a real question about your project.

Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when it was done

You don’t need a receipt, a contract number, or a printed invoice. We keep every job on file, so telling us your address and what we worked on is enough to pull up the details.

Step 3: We schedule the return visit

We’ll set a time that works for you. Before anyone arrives, you’ll receive their name and photo – the same Threshold Verified standard that applies to every first visit applies here too.

Step 4: We make it right

The technician arrives in a clean, marked uniform, shows a photo ID badge at the door, and gets to work. When the job is done, you sign off that you’re satisfied – and that’s the end of it.

Timing

The 365-day window opens on the date your job was completed and closes exactly one year later. If you notice something on day 366, we don’t slam the door on you – we’ll come look and handle it reasonably, because that’s how we’d want to be treated. Each Sutton ADU Builders location is independently owned and operated, but every location operates under Threshold Verified standards, which means this promise travels with the brand – wherever you found us, the 365-Day Done Right Promise is yours.

Questions About the Promise

If you’re not sure whether something is covered, don’t try to figure it out alone. Call (472) 248-8213 and ask. A real person will pick up, listen to what’s going on, and give you a straight answer. That’s the point of having a promise – it should be easy to use.
